Folks, this is the last email I'll send you about our April fundraising goal. I'm going to ask you for one last donation to close out this month as a founding member of my general election campaign. But let me first explain why:

Tomorrow begins my first full month as your presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

It took a lot to get here. We spent a lot of our money and resources in the primary. And now we enter the first month in a one on one match up. A match up Donald Trump has already been preparing for since the day he was inaugurated, when he filed for his reelection and began building a war chest.

Look, I'm ready to fight, but I can't do it without you. If we don't hit tonight's goal, we could still fall short and lose our momentum going into this general election match up. Please, please, don't let that happen.

We have one last job between now and midnight: To get 1,000 more donations in the door. Each one gets us closer to defeating Donald Trump -- and only you can get me there.

So I have to ask one last time: Can I count on $5 from you as one last donation in April? That way, I can say you were with me every step of the way from the beginning:
