Think back to this point in June, before our last official FEC deadline. Arizona was a toss-up, Trump was leading, and we were in a close race with Kari Lake.

A longer email than normal from me today, John. Please, hang around if you have a minute.

I want you to think back to this point in June, before our last official FEC deadline. Arizona was a toss-up, Trump was leading, and we were neck-and-neck with Kari Lake.

Since then, there was an assassination attempt on a former President of the United States. The Republican National Convention happened. Joe Biden stepped aside, and Kamala Harris took the nomination. We had our own primary election and Kari Lake officially became our opponent. Just two weeks ago was our own convention.

It’s hard to believe, but that was all in the last three months. Thanks for sticking with me through them.

Now, the dust has settled a little after the DNC, and here’s where things stand with two months to go: Arizona is a toss-up, Trump is leading, and we are neck-and-neck with Kari Lake.

We’ve done everything right so far. No big mistakes, no unforced errors, and a ton of fresh enthusiasm and momentum over the last two or three months. We weathered some big changes, and that’s thanks to the strong team we’ve built together.

But all of the enthusiasm, all the momentum, it’s not enough to win this race. It’s going to take real, sustained, hard work. And because our Senate race is just underneath the presidential race on the ballot that folks will be voting on, the outcome of that campaign could absolutely affect the outcome of our own race.

Every ad we run, every call we make, every door we knock, every dollar we raise — all of that makes a difference in a campaign as close as this one, and we have to be ready for whatever comes next. If the last three months are any indication, the next two are going to be a wild ride.

So, after all of that, I have to ask you: Will you chip in $5 to my campaign for U.S. Senate and help me hold the line and defend Arizona against Kari Lake and Donald Trump?

Thanks a lot,
