Friend,
I think we can all agree that housing is a human right that everyone in this country deserves. Unfortunately, in the United States, that is not the reality for many families.
I have long advocated for increased affordable government housing. In a city as populated as New York, government assistance is necessary to ensure families aren’t thrown out on the street with no options. I’m a supporter of the New York “good cause” policy that ensures New Yorkers can stay in their homes without fear of extreme rent hikes. I have fought for the people my entire career, and I’m ready to face down greedy landlords and rising housing costs.
I have been working tirelessly for years trying to provide more affordable and accessible housing for New Yorkers—but we need allies on our side if we are going to fix this housing crisis. Thankfully, Kamala Harris is that ally. Kamala has been an advocate for the tenant and homeowner during her time in California politics. She has ensured that housing will be a top priority for her as president—now we just need to get her to the White House.
My Democratic colleagues and I are ready to increase access to affordable housing. We want to pass meaningful legislation to make sure all Americans have a roof over their heads. In order to accomplish this, we need a Democratic majority in Congress and Kamala Harris in the White House. Can you donate today to support us? [[link removed]]

As California Attorney General, Kamala Harris secured billions of dollars in settlement money for victims of the mortgage crisis. During her time as Vice President, she and President Biden worked to remove barriers to homeownership by dismantling restrictive zoning rules, bolstering government-assisted housing, investing in clean energy initiatives, and more.
Kamala will be a great ally for the housing movement because she cares about all Americans’ right to housing—no matter their socioeconomic status. My colleagues and I are fired up for the next Congress to make real progress and expand housing options. Now, we need your donation to make sure these Democratic lawmakers are re-elected.
