Sixteen years ago – on September 2, 2008, to be exact – Ron Paul gave his address at the Rally for the Republic, the gathering of patriots that capped off his historic presidential campaign.

In 2008, the Republican Party establishment despised Ron Paul. They nominated John McCain, who ran on a platform of perpetual war and was soundly defeated by Barack Obama.

Ron Paul supporters assembled in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while John McCain was nominated at the RNC in neighboring St. Paul. This was our Rally for the Republic, and it brought together over 10,000 activists.

This was the end of the 2008 Ron Paul for President campaign . . . but it was the beginning of Campaign for Liberty!

Besides Dr. Paul, some of the guests included Tucker Carlson, Barry Goldwater Jr., former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson, Grover Norquist, and many others who had a voice for liberty.

But of course, it was Ron Paul’s speech that brought down the house.

Ever since then, we’ve heard from so many people over the years: “Ron Paul was right!”

Tucker Carlson said it. Glenn Beck has said it. It has even trended on Twitter . . . on many different occasions, on different topics, from the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan to the disaster in Ukraine, from gold to the FBI to government spying.

It’s been printed on T-shirts and bumper stickers.


Over the years, Dr. Paul has touched our hearts and inspired us – millions of us. He’s traveled all over America spreading the message of liberty and freedom.

Like our Chairman, Ron Paul, Campaign for Liberty will never stop fighting for liberty.
