Representation is a matter of life and death. Centuries of intentional neglect has left Black communities far too vulnerable and leads to headlines like the one above.
If we are going to build power, we have to elect leaders who have lived our experience -- and our time to do so is NOW.
Tonight is our end-of-month deadline, and Black candidates across the country will be looking to this team for support. We can't let them down. There is too much at stake.

To be honest, I am worried about the 2020 election. Corrupt politicians are already using the virus as an excuse to attack our voting rights. And campaigns across the country are up against Republican mega-donors that are willing to spend anything to protect the status quo.
