You’ve probably already heard about Project 2025 — everyone’s talking about it these days. But did you know that the 920+ page plan for the next Republican presidential administration would gives massive tax breaks and giveaways to billionaires and corporations?

These plans aren’t being reported as much because there are so many other dangerous policy proposals in Project 2025 that would hurt working families and everyday Americans. But we need to pay attention to this too, because the more money that flows to the ultra-wealthy, the more political influence they’ll have and the more America will become an oligarchy.

Our friends over at Patriotic Millionaires have created a list of just a few of the most alarming tax changes that Project 2025 is calling for. Project 2025 would:

Eliminate
the
15%
corporate
minimum
tax
and
the
1%
excise
tax
on
stock
buybacks
completely.
*
Freeze
IRS
funding
allocated
by
the
Inflation
Reduction
Act,
which
has
allowed
the
agency
to
recoup
over
$1
billion
in
unpaid
taxes
by
the
very
wealthy
and
significantly
improve
taxpayer
services.
*
Replace
expert
career
civil
servants
with
political
hacks
who
will
grind
the
functions
of
government
to
a
halt.
*
Reduce
the
number
of
income
tax
brackets
and
lowering
rates,
which
would
give
the
ultra-wealthy
a
massive
tax
cut
and
increase
taxes
on
working
families.
A
Center
for
American
Progress
study
found
a
family
of
four
with
$100,000
in
annual
income
would
pay
$2,600
in
additional
income
tax
under
this
change,
while
a
family
of
the
same
size
making
$5
million
a
year
would
receive
a
$325,000
tax
cut.

Unfortunately, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve got to do absolutely everything we can to fight back against this destructive agenda, stop this plan from being enacted, take political power back from the billionaire class, and work toward economic prosperity for all.
