On October 7, 2023, we awoke to a nightmare. The State of Israel, and all of us, were forever changed.
The terrorists who broke a ceasefire, stormed through Israeli communities, and massacred 1,200 people left an entire nation devastated and mourning. One year later, the story of that horrific day is still being told. The horrors endured by the hostages. The courage of those who went to the front lines to battle the terrorists. The leaders in America who are still working to ensure Israel never stands alone and has the resources it needs to protect its families.

AIPAC’s commemoration marking one year since October 7 will feature firsthand accounts of survivors, Israeli soldiers fighting Hamas in the streets and tunnels of Gaza, and residents who have been forced to flee their homes in the north after Hezbollah’s relentless attacks.

We will hear from U.S. and Israeli officials about how America’s support over the past year has helped Israel defend its people, and the vital work that lies ahead to ensure Israel prevails.
