You’ve been a loyal supporter, so I’m not going to sugarcoat this: it has been a bad month for our campaign.
We knew it would be tough given the circumstances. Like you, I’ve had far more important work to focus on than campaign fundraising. The Bishop family, like so many families across the country, is focused on getting back to normal and helping others get their lives and jobs back.
But with about six months until Election Day, my opponent launching a round of nasty attacks in the newspaper, and Nancy Pelosi’s Super PACs preparing to spend millions to flip our district and keep her stranglehold on the people’s House, we cannot wait any longer to fight back.
