We have to be straight with you, we have outrageous news to share – the anti-Democratic Party has scored a major win against democracy in Nevada, where they have successfully denied the voters the choice to vote for the Green Party and our campaign for people, planet and peace.

The Nevada Supreme Court struck a body-blow against democracy when they ruled 5-2 that the over 29,000 signatures submitted by the Nevada Green Party – almost three times the required number – were invalidated by a technicality. The fine print in the affidavits used by the petition circulators was incorrect – the same affidavits that the Democratic Secretary of State directed the Green Party to use for our petition effort!

The anti-Democratic Party has wailed endlessly that they must win this election in order to “save democracy.” In reality, they have ruthlessly declared war on democracy, especially Jill and Butch’s anti-genocide, pro-worker, pro-planet campaign. From draining our resources to fight their onslaught of lawfare against our ballot access efforts, to posting jobs for operatives to manage infiltrators and spies to sabotage our campaign, to delaying our approved federal matching funds during a key moment in securing ballot access in many states, they’ve made clear that they’ll stop at nothing to limit voter choice to the duopoly parties of war and Wall Street. They’ll even exploit having officials in what are supposed to be neutral election administration roles act as saboteurs on their behalf.

The dirty Dems have managed to deny millions of voters in Nevada the choice to vote their values, but Jill and Butch aren’t going away, and they’ll never stop fighting for you.
