with the Davidson/Valentini Award at the 2019 GLAAD Gala San
Francisco!

Daniel Levy is an Emmy® nominated showrunner, writer,
director, producer and actor, best known for his work on one of the
most inventive shows on television, Schitt’s Creek, which he
co-created and stars in alongside Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Annie
Murphy, and Chris Elliott. In 2019, the show earned
four Emmy® nominations, including Best Comedy
Series.
The Davidson/Valentini Award is presented to an LGBTQ media
professional who has made a significant difference in promoting
equality and acceptance for the LGBTQ community. Through his work
on-screen and behind the scenes of Schitt’s Creek, Dan Levy
continues to advance LGBTQ visibility on television in compelling,
humorous, and necessary ways and we are thrilled to have him join
us.
