Lauren is up against Republican Jim Marter whose dangerous and extreme MAGA agenda threatens our community and values. There’s no question — he’s not fit to lead and certainly is not right for IL-14. Marter has built his campaign on divisive and harmful policies. He criticizes Lauren for securing funding for crucial projects in our district, dismissing the positive impact she’s made by investing in infrastructure, education, housing, and health care for our communities. The nerve of this guy. Marter's extreme immigration stance includes building a wall and eliminating DACA, relying on fear-mongering and lies while disregarding the invaluable contributions of many. He opposes policies that protect the rights of all people, and instead supports policies that undermine inclusivity and equality. Marter's platform is not only out of touch with the needs and values of our district, but also poses a threat to our progress. We have exactly two months to send him packing.
