The problem: Our grassroots fundraising numbers slowed down significantly in the last few days, just as the independent polling and analysis says Democratic candidates are surging in key battleground Senate races.
Why that matters: Momentum and money win elections. We have the momentum here, but if our fundraising falls short then Mitch McConnell’s network of GOP megadonors could overwhelm our candidates with negative TV and digital ads -- just like they did in 2018.
The stakes: So, if we fall short of our goal today it could endanger all of our work to put the Senate in play and give McConnell the opening he needs to destroy Democratic candidates like Mark Kelly and Amy McGrath.
Our job: Collect as many donations from Democrats as possible before the fundraising deadline tonight at midnight -- which is why we’re reaching out to ask if you can step up for our team:
