Dear John,

It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting
for our conservative values.

I'm honored to have the Minnesota Farm Bureau PAC endorse my reelection.
Supporting our rural communities, and especially their farmers, is a top
priority, and I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished. From fighting
overreaching regulations from liberal California that burden livestock farmers
to advocating for fair trade practices and expanding opportunities for rural
investment, I am committed to ensuring our agriculture industry has the public
policies it needs to thrive. My next term will be more of the same. I will
continue to champion the needs of our farmers, ranchers, and rural families in
Congress and work to protect the values and livelihoods that sustain our
communities and the world.

There is a new development in the Feeding Our Future scandal—the largest
COVID-19 fraud scheme in the nation, involving the theft of over $250 million
meant to feed hungry children. Despite this fraud occurring under the oversight
of Governor Walz’s administration and the USDA, both have failed to provide the
transparency Minnesotans deserve.

Since September 2022, I have been relentlessly demanding answers and
accountability for this massive fraud.I led the Minnesota Republican Delegation
in pursuing documents and explanations from both the USDA and the Walz
administration. Unfortunately, both parties responded to our calls for clarity
with silence or half measures. We are now—regrettably—at the point where House
Education and the Workforce Chairwoman Virginia Foxx, along with its committee
members, issued subpoenas to Governor Walz’s Minnesota Department of Education
and the USDA demanding answers.

The liberal lap-dog media in the Twin Cities can no longer shield Governor
Walz's record now that he is in the national spotlight. The scandal has exposed
a glaring lack of oversight, and I remain committed to holding those
responsible—including the governor—accountable. Minnesota families deserve
answers, transparency, and justice in return for this breach of public trust.

Yesterday was the last day of the traditional summer recess. I have enjoyed
the extended time in the district with campaign events in Redwood, Meeker,
Becker, Otter Tail, Kandiyohi, Lyon, and Renville Counties. While I certainly
heard dissatisfaction with how things are going, it was outweighed by people’s
optimism for this year’s election. People remember that in Donald Trump’s first
term we had security on our borders, low gasoline and utility prices by being
energy independent, an expanding economy that benefited everyone, and we were
respected on the world stage. In addition, the Trump campaign is investing in
our state to turn out the vote in November. It’s been great to connect with old
friends and make new ones, like this week in Olivia.

As always, please contact my office if you have any questions about my record
or my votes, or if there is anything we can help with. Thank you for your
continued support!

With gratitude,
