Chairwoman Stefanik Calls for Investigation into Hochul Administration Hiring Communist Chinese Spy

On Tuesday, following the arrest of a former top aide to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul for acting as a secret agent of the Chinese government, Elise called for an immediate investigation into why both Hochul and disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo allowed a Communist Chinese spy to work in the highest levels of New York’s government.

Chairwoman Stefanik stated –

"Failed Far Left Democrat Kathy Hochul allowed Communist Chinese spy Linda Sun unfettered access to the highest levels of New York State government. From allowing Chinese police stations to maintaining a sister city partnership between NYC and Beijing, this is another example of New York Democrats facilitating the influence campaign of Communist China. I am calling for a complete investigation into Kathy Hochul and her administration so that hardworking New York taxpayers receive the transparency we deserve."

Lawler Calls out Biden-Harris Administration for Funding Iran

On Thursday, Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) joined CNN to discuss the ongoing hostage crisis in Israel. Rep. Lawler called out the Biden-Harris administration for lifting sanctions that enabled money to flow to Iran and in turn, their proxies who continuously attack Israel. Rep. Lawler condemned Hamas for their barbaric actions and their cold blooded murder of innocent Americans and Israeli citizens.

Illegal Immigrants Can Commit Crimes and Still Have Access to Taxpayer-Funded Shelters says Adams Administration

Far Left Democrats have encouraged illegal immigrants to invade New York with their open border and sanctuary city policies. Republicans foresaw what this would mean - a mass influx of illegal immigrants, crime, and soaring costs to taxpayers.

New York state and New York City have been top offenders of encouraging unregulated mass immigration through their sanctuary city policies and taxpayer funded luxury hotel shelters.

Now the Adams administration has admitted that if a migrant commits a crime, they can still return to a taxpayer-funded New York City shelter.

Chairwoman Stefanik Calls for Crackdown on Federal Funding to Antisemitic Universities

Following the return of pro-Hamas mobs at college campuses, Elise called for a crackdown on federal funding for schools who refuse to protect Jewish students and faculty.

Chairwoman Stefanik stated –

"House Republicans are demanding higher education take more deliberate action to ensure Jewish students and faculty are protected. With students returning to campus, it has never been more critical that NO taxpayer dollars go to colleges or universities that have enabled antisemitism to take root."
