Trump isn’t backing down from his plans to revive Schedule F – a dangerous policy from his last term focused on firing nonpartisan federal workers and replacing them with partisan loyalists. Under “Agenda 47” on his campaign website, he’s promising to bring back the reckless Schedule F executive order on Day One.

Trump’s policies are a direct threat to Virginia jobs and Virginia’s economy. Virginia has one of the largest populations of federal workers in the country.

Every Virginia leader should stand united against Donald Trump’s attacks on Virginia's career public servants, their jobs, and their service to America. The Virginians who have devoted their professions to the service of our country — including engineers, law enforcement officers, scientists, public health officials, military analysts, emergency responders, and more— should not face this degree of disdain.
