Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, states with abortion bans have seen a mass exodus of OBGYN care providers.
For example, in Idaho alone, 22% of OBGYNs left the state - and now half of Idaho counties don’t have practicing obstetricians.
This is happening nationwide. Subject to restrictive laws that make it difficult to treat patients, doctors are closing down practices. And medical students aren’t even considering residencies in anti-choice states.
