Please pray for safety for thousands of people impacted by rains and flooding in South Asia. More than 300,000 people have moved to temporary shelters, and about 600,000 people are stranded in unsafe conditions. Severe climate impacts like this can leave children and families more vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation. Pray for local officials and first responders working quickly to keep everyone safe.

Please pray for the successful and quick voting in Romania for the draft law prepared by IJM that will be presented to the Parliament for voting. IJM is planning several activities and events to advocate for this law that will improve justice system response and support for victims of trafficking in Romania.

Latin America
|
|
Praise God for the more than 200 church leaders from Central America, Mexico and Latin America who participated in training to support children affected by violence. IJM Guatemala and MOCVIN (Movimiento Cristiano Contra la Violencia Hacia la Niñez) provided training on biblical justice, sexual violence prevention, and identification of signs of abuse. Pray that God will continue to guide these leaders and that children receive the care and protection they need.

Please join us in praying for an economic empowerment program in Myanmar. 12 survivors are working with IJM Myanmar on various ventures, including farming, selling snacks and food, and raising animals. We pray for their success, especially for those whose efforts are impacted by the ongoing rainy season and flooding.
