John, I just spoke on MSNBC about my race for Governor of North Carolina and my far-right opponent, Mark Robinson.
Mark Robinson is unfit to be the Governor of North Carolina, full stop. He promotes violence, even saying that “some people need killing.” He said he would reject ALL federal funding for public schools and has called educators “wicked.” And he wants to enact a total ban on abortion — with no exceptions for rape, incest, or to protect the life of the mother.
And it’s not just his words, John, Mark’s actions have proven time and time again that he shouldn’t be left in charge of anything, let alone our entire state.
- As Lieutenant Governor, he didn’t show up to work, missing every single meeting of the Military Affairs Commission and letting our veterans down.
- He and his wife owned and operated a child care center officially cited for dangerous and unsanitary conditions.
- He even held a fundraiser with a group previously investigated for slavery and child abuse.
