The American Dream is alive, John. Just look: This is a picture of my mom and my three sisters watching me speak at the DNC. My immigrant mother raised the four of us on a secretary’s salary. I worked any job I could get to support the family. I slept on the floor, on the couch, on a roll-out mattress. I got into Harvard with no money, no connections. I fought in Iraq. And now, I’m running for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. I believed it when I was a kid, and I believe it now: Anything is possible in the United States of America. But there is no denying that the American Dream feels out of reach for far too many. Kari Lake won’t fix that, and Trump won’t either. They’ll divide us further, cut taxes for their billionaire friends, and leave an economy that works for them — not working families, not the middle class. It is up to us to keep the American Dream alive — to defend it, to strengthen it. And the best way we can do that right now is by defeating Trump and Kari Lake.
