I have deep Missouri roots tracing back 6 generations. My family experiences instilled values of hard work. My wife Jaime and I have 3 children including my son Stephen who has inspired my advocacy for those with disabilities like autism.
In 2022, I was elected U.S. Senator from Missouri. I serve on Armed Services, Commerce, and Joint Economic Committees, focused on issues like reining in big tech's overreach, countering China, easing economic burdens, and ensuring military strength.
Previously as Missouri Attorney General, I took legal action to hold the Biden administration accountable on various policies including suing over social media censorship, the Keystone XL cancellation, and greenhouse gas regulatory overreach. Under Trump, I backed border security, energy production, and election integrity efforts.
I also prioritized public safety initiatives on crime, the opioid crisis, and justice for sexual assault victims. I earlier served as Missouri State Treasurer and State Senator promoting tax cuts and government accountability.
