### **Putin Weighs in on the 2024 US Election**
Russian President Vladimir Putin made a shocking statement on Thursday seemingly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race against former President Donald Trump.
Multiple reports indicated that Putin was questioned during the Eastern Economic Forum in eastern Russia, a platform for discussing global political and economic issues, about his views on the upcoming U.S. election.
The Russian president, apparently smiling alongside the event's moderator, said ultimately it was up to the American people to decide but said that as President Biden has backed Harris, the Russians would do the same.
Putin also added, "She laughs so expressively and infectiously that it means that everything is fine with her."
