John,

Mpox: it's a global health emergency with children accounting for 80% of deaths.

Bavarian Nordic has the only lifesaving vaccine for the Mpox virus, but it's charging $100 per shot.

Central and West Africa have detected the most Mpox cases so far, but now it's also been found in Sweden, Australia and Thailand. To stop the virus spreading around the world vaccines must be made affordable and accessible in Africa where they're needed the most. Public pressure on Big Pharma companies worked to make COVID-19 vaccines more widely available. Let's do it again.

Sign the petition: Bavarian Nordic make the Mpox vaccine available for everyone.

Countries in Africa have long been subject to a vaccine apartheid. It happened with Ebola, COVID-19, and now Mpox. COVID-19 showed us just how quickly a virus can spread around the world and just how crucial vaccine accessibility is to protect our communities.

Last year Denmark's Bavarian Nordic reported its best ever financial results. This year more than 500 people have already died from Mpox across the African continent. The Danish pharma company is refusing to share its vaccine recipe and ingredients so that local companies could help save lives.

Let’s eradicate Mpox, just like we did with smallpox, by making sure vaccines are available and affordable for everyone.

Bavarian Nordic: share the Mpox vaccine technology with countries that need it.
