Dear Friend,
Grandparents' Day is tomorrow, a time to recognize and honor the grandmothers and grandfathers in our lives who keep traditions and have stories and histories only they can tell. But for far too many, Grandparents' Day can be a painful occasion, as they reflect on their grandparent who's been impacted by Alzheimer's or another dementia.
With your help, we are accelerating research, driving advocacy, and providing care and support to people living with dementia and their loved ones. Right now, during our $200,000 Fall Match Challenge, your first gift can have 2X the impact on the fight to end Alzheimer's.
The Kahlert Foundation, a Maryland-based family foundation, has pledged to match every donation we receive by October 31 — up to a total of $200,000 — to support Alzheimer's research and programs and outreach initiatives at its local chapter, if we can raise the same amount by the deadline. Please take advantage of this exceptional opportunity for your gift to have TWICE the impact on providing care and support and accelerating critical Alzheimer's research.
This opportunity to make twice the difference won't last for long. Please act now — because grandparents everywhere, along with mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and future generations are counting on us for care and support and to advance vital research for more new treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
The strong interest you've taken in this fight tells me that you want to make a difference, and there is no better time to join than now, when your gift can DOUBLE in impact. Will you make your first gift today while it can be matched in impact?
Our supporters have helped provide care and support while advancing critical research. Don't miss out on making an even bigger impact this month with this $200,000 Fall Match Challenge.
Thank you.
Warm regards,
Donna McCullough
Chief Operating Officer
P.S. Your gift provides an enormous impact on our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Will you please make your first gift today while it can be matched 2X?
