Location: Farwell, TX and Texico, NM

Purpose: The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Lubbock District, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), is proposing to construct an overpass for US 60/70/84 in conjunction with three removals of surface railroad crossings in the communities of Farwell, TX and Texico, NM. The purpose of this public meeting is to present an altered design that has been developed apart from previous alternatives. The revisions address concerns brought to both agencies at previous public engagement events. The revisions proposed would improve mobility to SH 348 and 1st Street.
