African Diaspora Day on the Hill
Dear Mr. John xxxxxx,
In observance of African Diaspora Heritage Month, I will co-host African Diaspora Day on the Hill. The program aims to honor the contribution of the African diaspora to the U.S. and the Caribbean. The objective is to share knowledge and best practices, renewing bonds of history and solidarity frayed by centuries of displacement, alienation, and colonization.
The event will feature U.S., African, and Caribbean leaders, senior government officials, policymakers, bankers, business leaders, academics, and cultural icons to discuss how African Americans can play an active role in enhancing U.S. cultural and economic diplomacy in a mutually beneficial way.
