Hi everyone – we’re officially two months out from Election Day! Can you donate any amount you can today to help give me a 61-day-out boost?

In just two months, not only are we electing a new President, but also Members of Congress down the ballot – including in the Sacramento region. And when we put Democrats in control, we get things done.

As I reflect on my tenure and look toward the future, I see that there is still so much left to accomplish for both the Sacramento region and the nation as a whole.

We need to continue investing in crucial infrastructure projects - something I have worked on tirelessly, bringing billions of dollars in federal funding to improve our region.

We need to mitigate carbon pollution - and as a co-chair of the Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition, I know there are still so many opportunities to develop green energy, lower our carbon footprint, and reduce emissions.

We need to protect women’s rights and human rights - in California, we are blessed to have our reproductive freedoms protected, but other states are not as lucky. And if Republicans get elected, they may pass national abortion legislation. My goal is to fight to codify Roe in Congress and pass a legislation agenda that will protect and empower women.
