Truth Keeps Winning!
Dear John,
Even though the mainstream media won’t tell you, there is good news to report! Judeo/Christian values are winning every day, and biblical truth is prevailing.
Positive things are happening, and here are some stories that will encourage you:
Illegal Alien Charged With Voting In American Elections, Impersonating American Citizen
The Department of Justice (DOJ) charged an illegal immigrant from Guatemala for illegally voting in American elections and stealing the identity of an American citizen.
The Justice Department brought the charges against Angelica Maria Francisco, a 42-year old Guatemalan national illegally residing in Alabama, after it was found that she illegally voted in both the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections despite not being an American citizen.
The DOJ stated in a press release that Francisco was charged with “false claims of citizenship in connection with voting, false statements in application for a United States passport, use of a United States passport obtained by false statements, and aggravated identity theft.” Francisco has agreed to plead guilty to all charges.
The plea agreement reveals that the Guatemalan national illegally assumed the identity of an American citizen in about 2011 before using that identity to illegally procure a passport and register to vote.
“She subsequently used the United States passport to travel to and from her native country of Guatemala in 2012, 2015, and 2018,” the DOJ explained. “Using the same false identity, Francisco also registered to vote in Alabama in 2016 and voted in the 2016 and 2020 primary and general elections.”
Missouri Parents Keep Fighting to Get Sexually Explicit Books Out of Hostile School District
The battle continues in a Missouri school district to keep scores of sexually explicit books from children despite the lack of cooperation from state and local officials.
As previously covered by LifeSiteNews, since mid-2023 community members in Missouri’s Cameron R-1 School District have been raising concerns about dozens of troubling books in the high school library, including All Boys Aren’t Blue, Lucky, and The Female of the Species, which contain graphic sexual content, including explicit descriptions of rape, incest, and homosexual acts. On Thursday, local parent and retired Missouri State Highway Patrolman Dan Landi told LifeSiteNews the number of explicit books they’ve identified so far is up to approximately 200.
District officials gave lip service to the possibility of restricting certain titles on the basis of age but also said that the process would be lengthy and shouldn’t take away from the district’s primary educational goals.
The Cameron School Police Department concluded an investigation into the district last November that found no violations. The Missouri Department of Education ignored the parents’ complaints as well, with the state board of education and Cameron Superintendent Matt Robinson both claiming the books did not violate state laws.
Democrats Are Terrified Of GOP Plan To Protect U.S. Election From Noncitizen Voting
Democrats appear to be panicking over Speaker Mike Johnson’s reported plan to link a provision requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration to a government funding bill. On Thursday, The New York Times took to distorting the facts to deflect from the very real problem of a vulnerable federal voter registration system that Democrats refuse to address.
Punchbowl News reported earlier this week that Johnson plans to introduce a continuing resolution (CR) that includes the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. This legislation would amend the 1993 National Voter Registration Act and require prospective voters to provide documentary proof of citizenship to register.
While it’s technically already illegal for noncitizens to register to vote (or vote) in federal elections, the only thing standing between them and making it onto the voter roll is a small square box on the federal registration form that requires applicants to attest to their citizenship status under penalty of perjury.
Such a move on Johnson’s part has received almost immediate pushback from Democrats. Axios reported on Wednesday that “three senior Democratic sources” say “they expect a full whip operation against the GOP spending bill,” with Democrats in battleground districts likely to “face considerable pressure from their party not to break ranks.”
