We're reaching out to ask, humbly, if you can make a donation to the Democratic National Committee today.

But before we do, you deserve to know how we'll put that donation to work to elect Democrats this November.

First, it's important to note that every dollar we have raised so far has been allocated. Like any organization, we have plans and budgets we need to reach in order to win. As money comes in, we allocate those resources.

So not only do we have budget gaps to fill, but if we come up short of our goals it means there are expenditures we have to cut. That would hurt our chances of electing Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats everywhere.

Back to how we spend the money.

The DNC is the organization best positioned to move money where it needs to go when it's needed most. We make powerful investments in grassroots organizing and data and technology infrastructure. We make sure candidates and state parties across the country have the resources they need to compete and win.

The more we raise, the more we can do. But a big part of how much is dependent on the response to emails like this.
