Want to get an item repaired or mended?
Repairs are first-come, first-served. Upon arrival, participants will check in, sign a waiver, and wait to be called to a fixer station. At the fixer station, you'll watch, learn, and help the fixer repair your item. For more information visit our Kitsap Fix-it Fairs webpage.
Stay tuned for future events in Port Orchard, Bremerton, and Silverdale!

What can be fixed at Fix-it Fairs?
Kitsap residents are welcome to bring two items per event. If there are more participants than fixers available, we may limit repairs to one item per person.
Each event will vary on what skills are available to repair your items. We'll update our Kitsap Fix-it Fairs event webpage with event specific information. Generally, fixers can repair mendable clothing and textiles, small home appliances, lamps, vacuums, jewelry, and small electronics. You must be able to carry your items in and out - no oversized items.
Volunteer fixers will do their best to attempt repairs but there are no guarantees for a repair. Do not bring items that are leaking, dangerous, contain gasoline or fuel, have a strong odor, bulky appliances containing refrigerants, or microwaves. More restrictions may apply.

Why repair?
Let’s rethink our waste! Help reduce waste by maintaining and repairing rather than buying new. When you repair your items, you are:
- Saving money and resources by keeping your items in use for longer.
- Reducing waste by preventing useable items from being landfilled.
- Building a resilient, sustainable Kitsap community.
- Promoting a neighbor-to-neighbor community that values skill sharing.

Learn and read with us
Come early or stay after the events to explore a collection of books from our partners at the Kitsap Regional Library. Our local libraries offer books and resources on mending, repair, sustainability, and more!
The Poulsbo and Kingston library will have a display of Fix-it Fair books available for borrowing. By borrowing books from our local libraries, you are engaging in a sustainable practice and promoting reuse!
