Volunteer for the 7th Annual Delaware River Cleanup

Join us on Saturday, September 21, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for the 7th Annual Delaware River Cleanup in Hunterdon, Mercer, and Sussex counties. This free event is organized by the NJ State Park Service, Delaware River Greenway Partnership, and NJ Clean Communities Programs.

Volunteers are needed to help tackle litter along the Delaware River, from the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in Sussex County to the Abbott Marshlands in Mercer County. Cleanup supplies, light refreshments, and a complimentary T-shirt will be provided. Pre-registration is required.

Recent law school graduates and newly admitted lawyers can start their legal careers in public service within the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety. Applications are now open for the 2025 New Jersey Attorney General's Honors Program. Participants will engage in various legal activities, including policy formulation, case investigation, legal drafting, negotiation, and court appearances. The program is open to third-year law students, judicial clerks, and individuals completing fellowships by September 2025. Positions are available in Newark and Trenton. Applications are due by October 13, 2024.
