[link removed] [[link removed]] The contrast couldn’t be more clear, John: Montana Democrats will fight day and night to protect Social Security benefits. On the other hand, Republicans couldn’t be more eager to gut Social Security — even when thousands of Montanans rely on it every day.
In fact, 80% of House Republicans released a budget that calls for over $1.5 trillion in cuts to Social Security — including an increase in the retirement age to 69!
These GOP efforts to gut our benefits are shameful and out-of-touch, John. Instead of protecting our benefits, Montana Republicans want to make life more difficult for millions of American seniors across the country.
