Hey John,

I’m an organizer for Josh Harder and with ballots going out in California in less than 32 days, I thought now would be a good time to give you an inside look at our campaign and what’s been happening on the ground.

We know who we need to talk with to win this election:

1. We have to talk to persuadable voters about why Josh is on their side. We know there are thousands of people who haven’t made their minds up yet and they have to hear from us before ballots drop.
2. We need to get in touch with voters who have historically been disenfranchised from voting. That means connecting authentically with our Latino community and energizing young voters to make their voices heard.

We have to meet these voters where they are - in their neighborhoods and in their homes. That’s where our organizing program comes in. Whether it’s at a house party, getting a knock on their door, or a simple phone call, these connections are the key to winning a swing district like ours.

But grassroots organizing takes real resources. Think pens, paper, clipboards, campaign lit, ponchos, and yard signs. It all costs money and we can’t run out of these supplies for our volunteers and canvassers.
