Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse recently said that if Democrats are able to win the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, then Senate Democrats would be “virtually certain” to pass a Supreme Court reform bill by a simple majority.

Not only would the bill impose term limits for Supreme Court justices and establish ethics and recusal rules — but it would also be tied to a legislative package that would codify our right to abortion, restore voting rights, implement campaign finance reform, and other top Democratic priorities.
