After the Audubon Society of Northern Virginia officially changed its name to the Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, the organization’s Bylaws required updating. In addition to the name change, the Board took the opportunity to clarify how contracts for services are to be approved and how nomination of new Board members and officers is now undertaken. The list of current committees was also updated. These proposed changes require approval by NVBA members, so a vote on these proposed changes will occur at the September 22 Alliance Afternoon meeting.
The revision of the Bylaws, which are red-lined to show proposed changes since the 2022 version, can be found here.
