On Tuesday night, September 10, Vice President Kamala Harris will face Donald Trump in Philadelphia in their first-ever debate of the election, and she will show voters exactly what's at stake in this election—and that's our freedoms and our futures.
Gather with fellow MoveOn members as Kamala Harris takes the debate stage and demonstrates why the choice voters face this November couldn't be more clear. We're fighting for her because she's fighting for us. While Vice President Harris is holding Trump accountable on the debate stage, MoveOn members will gather in bars, basements, and other community venues across the country to show Kamala Harris that she's not alone in this fight. It's going to take a movement to win this election, and with less than 60 days until Election Day, we don't have a moment to spare—and this is an opportunity to meet fellow MoveOn members and neighbors, find more ways to get involved in get-out-the-vote efforts, and get energized for the final weeks of the campaign.

Kamala Harris has had one client her entire career: the people. Donald Trump, on the other hand, has proven time and time again that he's just looking out for himself and the ultra-wealthy. A Trump presidency, dedicated to enacting a dangerous Project 2025 agenda, would only drag us backward. But, as Kamala Harris likes to say, we're not going back! We've fought too long and too hard to give up everything we've fought for. Whether it's our right to reproductive freedom or our right to drink clean water and breathe clean air, Vice President Harris will be fighting for us when she takes that debate stage against Donald Trump.
