The news just broke that corporate special interests and extreme anti-abortion groups are spending $4 million to support three right-wing Ohio Supreme Court candidates, trying to buy a majority that will rule in their favor and against the rights and freedoms of Ohioans.
They’ve thrown their weight behind Republican candidates Joe Deters, Megan Shanahan, and Dan Hawkins, knowing that they will protect corporate profits, restrict access to reproductive care, and push a dangerous agenda that leaves working Ohioans behind.
We deserve an independent and fair Supreme Court that holds big corporations accountable, protects the basic rights of every Ohioan, and upholds the law with integrity. But if Deters, Shanahan, and Hawkins get their way, we’ll have a court that’s the complete opposite.
We can’t let corporate interests take over the Ohio Supreme Court. Our future is on the line, and we need your help to stop them.
