Hi John,
[Note: today’s the end of the month and we are behind. We need to raise more money for phone banking. Please rush a donation right now if you can. Thank you.]
I just met with our team, and they laid out our plan for the rest of the primary.
It’s VERY ambitious. But I know we can do it with your help, because we’ve already exceeded expectations.
We’ve been endorsed by two sitting City Council members, Brand New Congress, Our Revolution, the WA Progressive Caucus, and more. We have hundreds of volunteers and interns. My videos have been viewed 100,000+ times, and I have 9,000 more Twitter followers than my opponent Derek Kilmer.
Most importantly, we’re speaking with voters every day who are excited to vote for a candidate who supports Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and a housing guarantee — all without taking any corporate money.
Those calls are why I’m writing you today.
This is the phase in the campaign when we rapidly scale. To reach all the voters in our plan to win will cost $77,400 in the next 3 months for phone banking alone. The software itself isn’t cheap, and we’re also charged for every single phone call we make. Each call costs $.055 per dial. Can you give $5 to fund 90 calls?
You’ve already helped us raise $2,500 to buy phone numbers, since the WA Democrats barred us from their voter file. Thank you so much!
We’ve already been phone banking 7 days a week — now we need to do even more! Whatever you can afford helps. $1 = 18 calls. If you can give, please donate here:

Thank you,

P.S. My opponent Derek Kilmer, who calls himself a national leader in getting money out of politics, has taken $3 million from corporate PACs. Hypocrisy.
We’re not going to win by playing their old, corporate, hypocritical game. Instead we’re using the new, winning playbook: small-dollar, grassroots donors and ZERO corporate money, so you know I’ll always fight for YOU, not corporations and billionaires.
That’s why I’m always transparent about how we’re spending your money. Now more than ever, you need politicians you can trust — who won’t sell you out.
Unlike Corporate Kilmer, I don’t drop $6K in campaign funds on a golf resort and $12K on catering. I count pennies.
Please donate whatever you can, so we can ramp up the calls:
