A Call for Hope and Healing
As I’m sure you’ve seen on the news, this past Wednesday, Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, became the site of a tragic and senseless shooting, resulting in the deaths of at least four individuals and injuries to over 30 others. Law enforcement responded to the active shooting report, taking a 14-year-old male suspect into custody. The incident unfolded around 10:23 a.m., leading to a chaotic scene as students were evacuated and reunited with their families later that day. Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith confirmed the presence of two teachers and two students among the fatalities.
As Frontline President Cole Muzio wrote yesterday, what happened on Wednesday highlights the brokenness of our world where evil and hatred can prevail. In these dark times, it’s easy to feel despair, but we must remember that God alone offers hope amidst the chaos.
As we mourn together, we recognize that no law can fully eradicate violence. A culture rooted in love for life, neighbor, and God is essential for a civil society free from such tragedies. I ask you to join us in continuing to pray for healing and restoration for those affected, trusting in God’s hope and strength.

A Great Evening of Christianity & Culture Conversations
Last week, we hosted the C3 event at Grace Fellowship Church in Cumming, Georgia, focusing on the intersection of Christianity and culture. We were joined by our legislative allies, Sen. Greg Dolezal, Rep. Todd Jones, Rep. Carter Barrett, and Sen. Shawn Still, and our team shared different aspect of what it means to be “salt and light” in this world.
Cole Muzio spoke about what it means to be a biblical citizen, emphasizing the importance of faith in civic engagement. Scott McInnis shared insights on the Church Ambassador Network, highlighting how churches can play a vital role in public policy. Craig Hanson provided an overview of current cultural trends, urging participants to be proactive in addressing challenges within society. And Chelsea Thompson discussed key Georgia policy issues, equipping attendees with the knowledge to advocate effectively.
