Another exciting week for the Indiana GOP! To start I would like to

victory Wednesday in Jasper to represent the 48th district. I would also like
to say thank you to all who threw their hat in the ring and ran in the caucus.
Additionally to all of the precinct committeeman that participated in the
voting process we thank you for your continued support and participation in our
party. Finally I would like to say thank you to our team at state party who ran
a professional, successful, and efficient caucus. We received amazing feedback
and I could not be more proud of all your hard work.
Coming up this weekend we are hosting our first Super Saturday of September.
Starting at 9AM Saturday weekend all across the state our team alongside our
county parties will be hitting the streets, knocking doors and getting our
message out! We ask everyone to join as at any time throughout the day to help
us in this effort. Even an hour of your time can make all the difference come
this November!

Indiana and Every Other State is Now a Border State
This week, Hoosiers were reminded that border czar Kamala Harris has made
every state a border state. Indiana was in national news this week as a 26 year
old illegal immigrant stabbed a 14 year old girl
<[link removed]>
with a butcher knife while at her brothers baseball game in Lake County.
We are grateful that the child has been treated and released from the
hospital, and we are thankful that local law enforcement were able to apprehend
the perpetrator.
We all enjoy going to the baseball diamonds and watching our loved ones play.
A place where you should be celebrating your kids athletic achievements and
participation in your community. But thanks to the policies of border czar
Kamala Harris, the border is wide open and millions of people we have no
information about are spreading across our country. In Harris' America,ALL
states are border states.
Here is Why:
* 10.1 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Harris was
named border czar - in comparison, Indiana's entire population is just under 7
million.
* At least 98 people on the terror watchlist have been encountered trying to
enter the U.S. between ports of entry this fiscal year.
* With roughly 3,350 daily encounters, this dwarfs the definition of a
"crisis" set by Obama's DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson when he said in 2019 that
"more than 1,000" encounters a day "overwhelms the system.”
* The Harris-Biden administration has failed to remove 99.7% of the illegal
immigrants released into the interior of the U.S. This has led to crimes being
committed far beyond the border by people that came to our country with no
vetting:
* A Peruvian gang leader wanted in his home country for 23 murders
<[link removed]>
was arrested in New York after border patrol initially released him into the
United States.
* A Haitian illegal immigrant was arrested for allegedly raping a pregnant
woman
<[link removed]>
at a Massachusetts migrant motel.
* A Mexican illegal immigrant was arrested for allegedly raping
<[link removed]>
a 10-year-old boy twice in Mississippi.
* A Columbian illegal immigrant facing 18 years in prison for homicide
<[link removed]>
was captured in Maryland after border patrol initially released him into the
United States in 2022.
All of these horrible crimes, including the one committed here in Indiana,
could have been avoided if policies were in place to secure our southern border.
To be clear, legal immigration is a great thing for good people that are
looking for a better life here in America, and we welcome them. But allowing
anyone to enter our country without proper vetting is dangerous and
irresponsible.
Here in Indiana, we have leaders that are working to protect our state, but we
need leaders in the White House like Donald Trump and J.D. Vance to fix this
national issue.
