About a third of people said they would be more likely to turn out to vote if there was a "younger, military veteran" on the ballot. The reason is clear: Voters across both parties think veterans are more likely to display the attitudes and maturity we need in Congress. Americans want elected leaders who will focus on getting things done, which means building coalitions and working with the other party.
