Hello John, Everywhere you look, the government’s growing role in health care is causing more problems than it’s solving. Read to the bottom to find out what action YOU can take to push your lawmakers to move healthcare in the right direction. Here are just a few ways the government is making things worse in health care. - Obamacare plans not only cost a heck of a lot more than advertised, but the Paragon Health Institute has found that over the last decade the quality of Obamacare plans has declined dramatically. According to Paragon, “An increasing share of individual market enrollees are in Medicaid-managed-care-like plans.”
- Premiums for Medicare Part D – that’s the prescription drug plan – are set to increase because of provisions in Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, so the government is going to transfer tens of billions of tax dollars to the nation’s largest health insurance companies to “stabilize” Part D premiums and put them off until after the election.
- According to economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin of the American Action Network, the Medicare drug price “negotiations” that Joe Biden likes to brag about…are nothing to brag about. Eakin says, “the private sector – without government intervention – negotiated drug savings that were more than triple the amount negotiated by the Biden Administration’s IRA-compelled negotiations.”
We could go on…and on. But instead of more government command and control, we need a different approach to health care. Here’s the bottom line: Every man, woman and child in our country should be able to access the health care they need. And because health care is so personal, everyone should be able to choose the health care coverage that is right for them – regardless of their income. A Personal Option is the doctor-supported plan that offers all Americans more flexibility and trusts you to make your own decisions about your health care, from insurance coverage to what doctors you can see to accessing new therapies. It’s all about choice and control – who you trust with the important decisions about your health care. If more choice and personal control in health care sounds good to you, let your elected officials know that you support a Personal Option! |
