It is a busy time for our campaign, and I wanted to check in with you between
events and meetings today with a quick update.
Right now, here is where things stand with our campaign:
* There are just 60 days until Election Day
* Polls have this race in a dead heat
* Our team is out in full-force knocking on doors and talking to voters
* Our team’s schedule is jam-packed with events in the district
This race may come down to a handful of votes—it is going to be extremely
close. We absolutely cannot afford to take anything for granted.
We are out each and every day knocking on doors, making phone calls, and
holding events so we can ensure victory in November.
None of that is possible if we do not hit our fundraising goals. Missed goals
mean budget cuts. Budget cuts mean less voter contact. Less voter contact means
this race could be in serious jeopardy.Simply put: it is crucial we have the
resources to win.
