Hi John, On the one year anniversary of the infamous Yemen school bus bombing, join us to protest the US continued support for the Saudi-led war on Yemen. In August 2018, US-supplied bombs killed 40 Yemeni children on a summer outing in a school bus. Since then, the war on Yemen continues to rage; 1,000 more Yemeni children have died in casualties of war. The administration continues to bypass Congressional opposition to weapons sales to Saudi by declaring a fake state of emergency and vetoing all legislation that would end US military support for this war. Come stand in solidarity with the Yemeni people and the children who have been harmed and killed by US bombs, and call for an end of US military support to Saudi Arabia. This vigil is sponsored by CODEPINK, STAND, Maryland Peace Action, Action Corps and Just Foreign Policy.
