There are just over six weeks until Texans start voting in the November election, and just over eight until Election Day itself.  That means there are just eight weeks left to send Colin Allred to the Senate and defeat Ted Cruz.

People from across the country have asked me if I really, truly think Colin can win the race.  Since day one, I have told them yes, I know Colin can win the race.  But you don’t just have to take my word for it. 

A recent poll from the University of Houston has Colin within about two points of winning the race.  And it shows that there are lots of people still making up their minds.  And I know that when people hear more about Colin, they will be won over.  How do I know?  Because he’s done it before.  (In 2018, Colin and I made history by defeating long-time Republican incumbents and helping Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives.)  And because he is the kind of person Texans deserve as our Senator.

All he needs is a little help from us to talk to those voters who are still making up their minds—about who to vote for, and whether to vote at all.  That’s why #TeamLizzie is working so closely to talk to voters here in #TX07 and across Texas.  And we will keep doing it every day from now to November.
