On Tuesday, we were thrilled to welcome Hillary Rodham Clinton to the Arena Talks series for a discussion about how we can support the next generation of leaders.
Our next Arena Talks event is tonight from 6-8:30 p.m. EST. We'll learn how the Arena community is responding to Coronavirus, ([link removed]) hearing from some of the country’s most promising young leaders, including Arena grad Lina Hidalgo, who’s leading the fight in one of the biggest counties in the nation. ** Hear from leaders in our fight against COVID-19

Lina Hidalgo, the first woman and Latina county judge for Harris County, TX, will talk about how she’s mobilizing her community to stop the effects of Coronavirus. She’s joined by Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs, one of the nation's youngest mayors, and Sejal Hathi, a resident physician at Massachusetts General Hospital who will have a conversation with Michael Simon, CEO of ELUCD. The event is tonight, Thursday April 30, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST.

** Arena Talks: The future of NYC

In this podcast, we hear from two political leaders at the center of the fight against COVID-19, both widely acknowledged to be two of the most likely successors to Bill de Blasio as Mayor. First up is Scott Stringer, who is NYC’s Comptroller -- which is an office that serves both as the chief financial officer of the city and the city’s chief auditor. We then hear from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, who gives us an on-the-ground account of how COVID-19 is impacting Brooklyn.
