After the fall of Roe v. Wade, it only took a few hours for the majority-male Ohio legislature to enact a 6-week abortion ban with no exceptions. One year later, voters responded by showing up in record-breaking numbers to reclaim their rights through a ballot initiative. The GOP supermajority in the Ohio State House immediately got to work undermining the rights Ohioans had just voted to protect; blocking access to reproductive healthcare in any other ways they could:

They passed laws forcing patients seeking abortions to have 2 separate appointments with their provider (this law has been temporarily blocked by a judge who ruled it unconstitutional earlier this week). The majority-male legislative body passed laws requiring women to have a state-mandated “counseling” session and receive an ultrasound, and for patients under the age of 18 to have a parent or guardian present – or seek a judge’s PERMISSION to get an abortion.
