Hi John,

They want to start in Tucson, and then make the rest of Arizona like it.

Why is that a problem?

First, there is a move to make Tucson a sanctuary city. Unlike most of the rest of Arizona, when the thousands of illegal immigrants stream across the border, Tucson would reward these lawbreakers by refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement and would welcome them with open arms. Crime, disease, and draining our local, state, and federal tax dollars.

This is a real problem and I am tired of it. Don't these people understand that sanctuary cities are lawless, and actually encourage more illegal immigration that is already more than Arizona can handle?

Don't they know that Tucson is already the 5th poorest metro area in the country, and that all these illegal immigrants only exacerbate that problem?

South Tucson is the poorest town in Arizona - why send illegals there to undercut their jobs and bring more crime and drugs? But that's not all.

The radical, out-of-the-mainstream liberals governing the city also turn away businesses that don't agree with them politically.

That's right, in a city that is desperate for jobs, the socialists on the Tucson city council would rather tell businesses with jobs and investment "no thank you", than allow conservatives to set up shop in the city.

That happened recently when Grand Canyon University, an Arizona institution with a Christian affiliation, tried to expand to the city:

"Tucson City Councilwoman Regina Romero knows that the people over whom she governs are going hungry, homeless, and left at the mercy of strangers; however, she told one of their potentially saving forces, an employer who would provide sustenance producing jobs, that there was no room at the Tucson inn for them." (Arizona Daily Independent)

Didn't the Soviet Union try this, and it bankrupted the country? Didn't Venezuela do this, leading to the downfall and misery and conflict there?

Just goes to show you, the Democrats don't care about the poor, or about helping the people of Arizona. All they care about is an ideological crusade against Christians and conservatives, even if it harms their community.

They are bathed in extremism and hatred. They want to turn all of Arizona, all of America, into the disaster of Tucson- a lawless sanctuary city with extensive poverty and chasing away jobs and Christians.
