You likely know that it’s “Election Day” this year.
But here in Michigan, the first votes are cast weeks before that date. That means as you read this, we are smack in the prime window that we need to be persuading undecided voters before they actually cast their ballots – starting at the end of this month, when absentee ballots drop on September 26th.
I know a lot of people are inclined to wait before they make a donation to a Senate race like mine. So many donations come in from mid to late October, right before the election.
But the sooner you can give, the further your dollars will go. A donation any time is great, but a donation today will help us reach those undecided voters *before* voting begins, and just as their ballots hit their mailboxes.
We have received far more donations than my Republican opponent. I am very proud of that. And while I wish I didn’t have to ask even more people to donate, in a race this close and with absentee voting right around the corner, I have to ask
