Dear John,
Are you registered to vote? Check your voter registration status here.
The upcoming election is Tuesday, November 5.
I worked as a voting rights attorney before I came to Congress because I know that democracy works best when more people participate. Make your voice heard.
The deadline to register to vote in Texas is October 7, 2024.
First Time Voters:
If you are registering to vote for the first time, here are your options:
- Complete an application using the ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION APPLICATION. Simply fill in the required information, print, sign and mail the completed application directly to your county election office;
- Request a PRINTED APPLICATION. The Secretary of State will mail a postage-paid voter registration application to the address provided; OR
- Contact or visit your local VOTER REGISTRAR to complete the voter registration process.
Please note that you have to fill out and submit a printed form to complete your voter registration.
Find your polling place, request an absentee ballot and find all of your Texas voting resources at VoteTexas.Gov.
Voting is a sacred right. Please take some time right now to double check your voter registration status.
It’s an honor to serve North Texas, where I was born and raised. If you have any questions, please visit VoteTexas.Gov or contact my office at (972) 972-7949 to be connected with voting resources.
Sincerely,
Colin Allred Member of Congress
