JOHN,

A brand new poll shows that the momentum is going our way!

But we are not slowing down.  We can't.  My opponent will have millions of dollars to release her attack ads on me, lying about my record.  I guess I am not surprised that she is resorting to name-calling, especially after these new poll results.

At this point, your donation will help us to keep our focus where it needs to be: Solving Problems.  Our economy is a mess, and it is my goal to help our country and our communities.

We just released the following statement to the Press: (Scroll Down)

PARROTT CAMPAIGN SURGING AHEAD

Washington County – The Gonzales Research and Media Services released poll results today that shows that Delegate Neil Parrott has now taken the lead in his race for Congress with 41% of the vote to April Delaney’s 39%.

The poll also shows that Parrott has significantly higher name ID than his opponent.  Parrott has 66% name ID, but the majority of people in the district do not recognize Delaney’s name.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway, however, is that this neutral new poll improves upon an internal poll that the Parrott campaign conducted 3 weeks prior to the Gonzales Poll.  The internal poll showed a statistical tie, but this new poll shifts momentum in the other direction, showing Parrott ahead by 2 percentage points.

The momentum is clearly with the Parrott campaign coming out of a summer filled with local campaign events talking with voters in Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick, and Montgomery Counties.

Parrott indicated, “I am very thankful for the support we are receiving.  As a small business owner who lives right in the center of District 6, I understand the struggles of my friends and neighbors in a way that someone who lives in a DC suburb cannot.”

April Delaney must drive over 20 minutes to reach the District that she wants to represent.  Her home in the DC suburbs, and her recent job working for the Biden Administration, surrounds her with people who are not facing the same economic difficulties as most people in Maryland’s District 6.

While Neil Parrott plans to vote for Parrott for Congress in November, April Delaney lives in Maryland’s District 8 and is planning to vote for her Congressman, Jamie Raskin, who is well known as an extremely radical, left-leaning Congressmen.

Maryland’s Congressional District 6 includes all of Garrett, Allegany, Washington and Frederick Counties as well as the northern portion of Montgomery County.  Parrott has connections within the district having represented Washington County in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2011 to 2023.  He also solved problems in Garrett, Allegany, Washington, and Frederick Counties while working for State Highway Administration from 1999-2006.

Thank you for reading!  For our Country,
Neil
